Information and Computing Science (4 years, Bachelor of Science)
Cultivation Objective: This program aims to cultivate students who should master the solid knowledge of information and computational sciences, have good disciplinary literacy of mathematics, have ability to conduct preliminary scientific research, be able to use computers languages, tools and special software proficiently, have ability to analyze and design basic algorithms and have strong programming ability. Meanwhile, the program cultivates students to become senior specialists who have a certain understanding of the new development of information and computing science and can solve practical problems by applying the knowledge they have learned and skillful computer technology.
Core curriculum: Mathematical Analysis, Advanced Algebra, Geometry, Ordinary Differential Equations, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research, Numerical Analysis, Fundamentals of Information Theory, Programming and Algorithmic Languages.
